Since forming in 2016, Somerset Trio has been creating musical experiences that are refreshingly unique.
The trio combines music of a range of eras and genres; from pillars of the classical canon; to original arrangements of today’s popular tunes. A notable emphasis of the ensemble is their attention to detail in carefully crafting each program to include something for listeners of all ages and backgrounds. Their ability to provide new contexts for the works they perform makes the music not only accessible, but fresh and exciting!
The trio is comprised of three of Vancouver’s most sought after musicians; Alana Lopez on violin, David Antoniuk on piano and Ben Goheen on cello. The trio has been featured at many of the well known Candlelight Concerts in the Vancouver area.
