Sarina holds a Bachelor of Music in Orchestral Performance and a post-graduate diploma in chamber music from Wilfrid Laurier University. As a performer, she has participated in numerous music festivals such as Orford Musique and Laurier’s Quartetfest. In recent years, she has been involved with many ensembles in the community including Vera Causa Opera and the Kitchener Waterloo Chamber Orchestra. Notably she has also performed locally with several acclaimed artists including Canadian band The Great Lake Swimmers and Motown legend Smokey Robinson.
Sarina is also an SAA approved Suzuki violin teacher. She has over 8 years of teaching experience from numerous music schools including the Suzuki String School of Guelph, Rockwood Music Academy, and Long & McQuade. She also helped launch a project in partnership with the Suzuki String School of Guelph that focused on bringing music lessons to a local low-income elementary school, where this type of education is not always accessible.
In recent years, Sarina has shifted her career focus toward health & well being, working as an international yoga teacher since 2023. She still carries a violin with her on her travels and enjoys playing music at any opportunity she gets!
