Vena Lin is a violist and pianist that performs regularly with Esprit Orchestra, Brantford Symphony, Hamilton Philharmonic, Ontario Philharmonic, Casa Loma Symphony, Ontario Pops, Vancouver Metropolitan, and has subbed as a principal violist with the Niagara Symphony. Vena has toured Montreal and Ottawa with the Toronto Symphony in TSYO Side-by-Side concerts.
She was also a violist for Josh Groban’s “Harmony Tour” at Budweiser Stage, Michael Bublé’s “Higher Tour,” Ms. Lauryn Hill’s “The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill 25th Anniversary Tour” at Scotiabank Arena, Smokey Robinson’s “Legacy Tour” at OLG Stage–Fallsview Casino and Caesars at Windsor Casino, Kygo’s “World Tour 2024,” Richard Clayderman’s “Timeless Romance Tour” at Vancouver Orpheum Theatre, IL VOLO’s “World Tour 2025”, Sarah Brightman “A Winter Symphony”, Trans-Siberian Orchestra at TD Coliseum and 2025 MLB World Series Opener game alongside Pharrell Williams at the Rogers Centre.
Vena holds a Bachelor of Music in Viola Performance from the University of Toronto, studying under Teng Li and Theresa Rudolph with full scholarships. She also holds a Master’s degree and an Advanced Certificate Diploma in Viola Performance under Rémi Pelletier.
